World Read Aloud Day


World Read Aloud Day  is celebrated in over 100 countries to highlight the importance of reading and storytelling. How are you going to celebrate?

    1. The purpose is to call attention to reading and sharing stories. LitWorld, the sponsor of World Read Aloud Day, provides materials to schools and libraries in over a hundred countries. It is one more event like Read Across America (celebrated every March 2 on Dr. Seuss' birthday) to call attention to literacy and reading for everyone.
